I graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Marketing, specializing in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics. During my studies, I was able to study abroad which fueled my passion for helping students access similar opportunities. I later interned at UGA's Office of Global Engagement, providing scholarship guidance and honing my digital marketing skills.

Currently I work as a Sustainability Intern with the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Division, focusing on a research project to make Athens more sustainable. I’m passionate about the intersection of consumer psychology, data analytics, and marketing.

I studied abroad in Brasil!

I studied abroad in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil through the Portuguese Flagship Program on a full-tuition scholarship. During my two months there, I immersed myself in the culture and progressed from intermediate to advanced Portuguese

I have been to 32 concerts.

I have a love for live music and have attended 32 concerts over the years. Some of my most memorable experiences include seeing Lana Del Rey, They Are Gutting A Body of Water, Playboi Carti, and Migos (RIP).

My mom is a part-time beekeeper.

My mom is a beekeeper, which has inspired my passion for protecting the environment and saving the bees. I believe that every small action can make a difference, and I’m dedicated to supporting efforts that help our buzzing friends and the planet.

I am Mexican-American.

I grew up in a lively Mexican household with a ginormous family (I have attended easily over 20 quinceañeras). I am very proud of my heritage! Some of my favorite dishes that bring back warm memories are entomatadas and sopes

Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspirations are my dad and mom. My dad was the hardest worker I ever met, dedicating himself to providing for our family. He passed away in April 2024, and I am committed to honoring his legacy through my work and determination. My mom has also been a source of strength and resilience, inspiring me to push forward and pursue my dreams with passion and purpose.
What motivates you in your work?
I’m motivated by the opportunity to uncover insights that can shape meaningful strategies and drive positive change. I love the process of digging deep into consumer behavior to reveal what truly matters to people. Additionally, supporting underrepresented communities through mentorship is a constant source of inspiration for me.
Why did you choose marketing research as a career?
I discovered my passion for marketing research during a digital marketing competition where I was encouraged to conduct research and create a campaign based on our findings. I was fascinated by how many insights and ideas were born from the research process. That experience showed me the power of data-driven strategies, and I’ve been passionate about uncovering consumer insights to drive impactful marketing decisions ever since.
How do you stay updated with industry trends and advancements?
I stay updated with industry trends and advancements by listening to a variety of podcasts. Some of my favorites are The Current and Freakonomics, which provide valuable insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and the latest in economics. I find podcasts to be a great way to keep learning and stay inspired while on the go.
How do you stay organized and manage your time effectively?
I stay organized and manage my time effectively by using a combination of tools and techniques. I rely on digital planners and apps to keep track of my tasks, deadlines, and priorities. I break down large projects into smaller, manageable steps and set milestones to stay on track. Additionally, I like to start each day by reviewing my to-do list and setting clear goals. This structured approach helps me maintain focus and balance multiple responsibilities efficiently.
